These approaches align with the SEND Code of Practice (2015, updated 2020) and the Children and Families Act (2014), supporting your duty to use best endeavours to meet the needs of learners with ADHD.

 

For Students and Young People

ADHD can make life feel messy and overwhelming, but that doesn’t mean you can’t thrive. This toolkit helps you build habits, track your energy, and manage your emotions in ways that work with your brain, not against it. The tools here are about self-empowerment—making ADHD visible, tangible, and manageable so you can take control of your journey.

 

Employees and Managers

ADHD doesn’t end with school. In the workplace, challenges like time-blindness, distractibility, and task initiation difficulties can make daily work harder. But with small, reasonable adjustments outlined in the Equality Act (2010), Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), and ACAS/EHRC guidance, employers can create environments where ADHD employees excel.
