FOCUS REWIRe ADHD TOOLKIT

Accessibility Statement

At Focus Rewired, we’re committed to making our website www.focusrewired.co.uk accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that every visitor can navigate, understand, and interact with our site in a way that works for them,  without added friction, confusion, or barriers.

Accessibility means designing digital spaces that people of all abilities can use with ease. Whether someone is using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, or managing sensory overload, a truly accessible website should support a wide range of tools and needs — just like our workbook does for the ADHD brain.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

What we'did

We’ve worked to align this site with the WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidelines and have aimed for Level AA compliance. Here are some of the intentional steps we’ve taken:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to identify and correct key issues

  • Defined clear page structures using headings and content order

  • Provided alternative text for all images

  • Designed with mindful colour contrast for visibility

  • Reduced motion and animation where possible

  • Ensured our content works with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation

  • Made all videos, PDFs, and downloadable content accessible

Third party content

While most of the site is under our control, some content may be embedded or linked from third-party platforms. In cases where those platforms are not fully accessible, we declare partial compliance. Affected content includes:

  • Instagram and TikTok embedded feeds

  • Certain video players hosted by third-party tools

We are actively seeking solutions or alternatives where appropriate.

Feedback,and  support

We want this space to be welcoming and useful. If something on our site is creating a barrier for you — or if you need assistance accessing a tool, resource, or page — please reach out.
